SEO Straight Talk - Files From The Front Lines

WEEK IN REVIEW: MAY 26, 2007
Disturbia

This week marked a significant achievement in pop culture. The Web 2.0 site YOUTUBE.COM was actually referenced in the new film, "Disturbia". Aside from being an awful motion picture, (see it at your own risk) this film was in many ways a love letter to Best Buy.

The films overall message seems to scream, "Boy, we love technology" and that itself is wrapped around a plot that is peppered with puppy dog romance and explicit violence. The film has a happy ending slapped on the end of it like a few disturbing Hitchcock films. You walk out of the experience - far from elated - but relieved that the entire ordeal is over with.

The source for the new rebirth came from the Lloyd Kaufman book and CD series, "Make Your Own Damn Movie" which turned out to be a brilliant charge in the right direction. Taking their own spin on the process emerged a new product and service, "Make Your Own Damn TV Station" which is heavily based on th Kaufman - Troma Team Video inspiration in theory.

The five second spin on this idea is that you really can create a visual presence on the web for just $7,652.42 !!! That is peanuts compared to the monstrous 40 thousand dollar contracts that the media companies want you to sign when they put your show ...(shows ARE more expensive folks) or commercial spots on the air. No matter if it is television or radio this tends to add up very quickly. Now you can actually do it for pennies on the dollar and raise enough awareness for what you are trying to promote.

The phone number to kick start this entire process is:
